摘要
This paper describes the results of experimental and numerical investigations in the mixing process of fuel and water injected in the flame tube of a gas turbine combustor. The investigations were carried out at a flame tube of an industrial gas turbine. Using an optical measurement method, droplet size and distribution inside the flame tube were measured, In addition, results of numerical calculations of the droplets moving inside the flame tube are presented. Employing a newly developed dual-orifice nozzle an improved local mixing of and water spray is achieved.
