摘要
The concept of Multiple-Spin Exchange is reviewed from the pioneering theoretical paper of Dirac (1926), to recent experimental observations in two-dimensional highly-correlated fermion systems. Special emphasis is put on two-dimensional (3)He: a model system with tunable magnetic frustration, exhibiting exotic magnetic states (like spin-liquid) and Mott-Hubbard transition from liquid to commensurate solid.
