摘要：

The present paper offers a brief overview of Chinese investment activity in the Slovak Republic. Using dataset of the National Bank of Slovakia, it focuses on the volume and structure of foreign direct investment. It compares Chinese investment in Slovakia to investment in other Central and Eastern European countries, analyzes strengths and weaknesses of Slovakia as an FDI destination. It identifies possible measures that policy makers could take to increase the country's investment attractiveness.
