Cyclometalated N-Heterocyclic Carbene Platinum(II) Complexes with Bridging Pyrazolates: Enhanced Photophysical Properties of Binuclear Blue Emitters

摘要
The synthesis of the first examples of phosphorescent binuclear cyclometalated N-heterocyclic carbene C<^>C*m-pyrazolate platinum(II) complexes are reported and the photophysical characterization of the single isomers is described. The complexes exhibit a strong phosphorescent emission in the blue region of the visible spectrum with very high quantum yields of up to 86% at room temperature (PMMA film) and 98% at 77 K (2-MeTHF).
