Objective: In sports scientific research, many graduate students and PE teachers often use manual methods to make original data statistics in questionnaire. This heavy workload is low efficient and at the same time, many useful information will be left out because different issues statistics is separate, so we turn to Excel for help to give original data a scientific and effective processing. Method: Based on the features and statistical functions of the Excel, we establish an original data table of the questionnaire, input the content of the questionnaire to the table according to the required format and in this way, the original data will turn out to be a data list. Result: Taking the questionnaire in the author's master thesis as an example, this paper introduces the inputting method of descriptive title and original data, analyzes the processing requirements for numerical data and discrete data, and explains how to calculate the various statistical quantities, frequency distribution and tests with methods of paste function, data analysis, data perspective table. Conclusion: Excel is a data statistics tool with a collection of data table, work function, VAB applications and statements, which can not only deal with figures, but also with graph and character. The data in Excel can be shared with and converted to those in Word and Spss and any other databases. So, Excel can meet our needs in statistics processing of original data in questionnaire.
