摘要
The importance of using different delay intervals in blasting of a mine is discussed. Choice of optimum delay time is important as insufficient delay time enhances the vibration amplitudes and generates low frequency waves. Blasting, carried out with optimum delay interval, generates lower particle velocities and higher frequencies. Optimum delay interval for the blast provides good looseness for subsequent loading and hauling operations.
