摘要
The history and the state of art of the Forest Ecology - based Logging (FEL) theory in China were briefly introduced, including its origin, theoretical basis, present situation and related theoretical concepts abroad. The technical system of FEL consists of four parts of the planning and design, the technological process, the operational technique, and the management and administration. The study of FEL is focused on the forest operation system, relating to planning, technology, machinery and management. The theoretical and technological framework of FEL includes five parts: the research aim, the research contents, the methodology, the standard system and the applied technology. The research aim of FEL is to reach the harmony between the logging in forest utilization and the sustainable development of the forest ecosystem. The research contents of FEL can be divided into four parts: the mutual relation between the logging engineering and the forest ecosystem, the evaluation and optimization of logging system, the ecology - based logging technique and equipment, and the ecology - based logging planning and management. The methodology in FEL will be experiment and model types, relating to the study of influencing factors, evaluation indicators and models, methods in ecological economics and industrial ecology. The standard system for FEL will be set up, covering the specification and guideline on logging operation planning and design, the rule and guideline for logging operation, the experiment methods in FEL, the evaluation indexes and modeling of FEL. The system of the applied technology of FEL should include the application modes, the operation patterns, the practical models, the application cases and the typical systems
