摘要
Impedance spectroscopy is used to analyze and study the physical process of adsorption through the Cole-Cole diagram and chemical kinetic study in order to make a very effective comparison between the two techniques. The kinetic analysis correlates with the pseudo-second-order. The adsorption of the ions nitrate reaches about 295.62 mg/g as retention capacity. The diagram (Cole-Cole) plots show well the grains and grain boundaries have contributed to the conduction mechanism at different adsorp-tion times. The elements participate that are responsible for conduction phenomena and dielectric processes are H2O and NO3-. A molecular dynamic simulation indicates that NO3- ions adsorb first on the gibbsite and Zincoxane (active sites) of the (Zn-2.93 Al(OH)(7.86)) (Cl-, 1.87H(2)O) surface. The theoretical results are in agreement with the experimental outcomes.Copyright (c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
