摘要
The Japan encephalitis virus and its infection remain an important public health problem in Asian countries. Even though effective antiviral therapy and vaccines are now available, still the cases or infections of JEV are not getting declined. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 30,000-50,000 JEV cases can be obtained annually. Various modes of transmission of this disease are present, which are very important to create awareness among people to minimise this infection. Most people infected with JEV are undetectable and few are infected with the JE virus and cause neurological disorders. So it is very necessary to understand the common clinical laboratory findings to understand the factors associated. This study reviews the common clinical and pathological causes of viral encephalitis and also the risk factors associated with this disease. The overall epidemiology of this deadly disease JEV and the factors associated with it have been summarized. This review is based on the scenario of epidemiology and molecular prospective of JEV disease.
