摘要
Monte Carlo simulation based on the Metropolis algorithm has been performed to study the magnetic properties of a mixed Ising ferrimagnetic model on a square lattice in which we have two interpenetrating sublattices that can take four values of spins sigma(A)(i) = +/- 3/2, +/- 1/2, alternated with spins that can take three values of spins S-j(B) = +/- 1. The proposed model includes the bilinear interaction J(2), the four spins interaction J(4) and the next nearest-neighbors interaction J' and J ''. The main attention was given to the study of the phase diagram for both transition and compensation temperatures after performing the exact calculations of the ground state for the model. We explored the role of the different interactions in the Hamiltonian. The model with only nearest-neighbors interaction and the four-spin interaction shows no compensation point at finite temperature. The presence of the next nearest-neighbors (NNN) interaction shows the existence of a compensation point which depends on the other parameters in the Hamiltonian.
