The bibliometric and statistical analysis method was undertaken to analyze the data records related to risk management from web of Science' SSCI, A&HCI, CPCI-SSH ranging from 1990 to 2010 for the first time, based on the assessment of Web of Science. The contents of analysis included research trend, subject category, international distribution, author keywords, author address, journal distribution, conference distribution, etc. Base on these analyses, we intend to get an overview of researches on risk management, and to reflect in this paper the leading researchers, the dominate organizations, the main countries and the progress and power of PRC on risk management research. Moreover, we hope the research findings of this paper can give convenience to cooperation administration and commercialization of scientific researches on risk management.
