摘要：

Energy efficiency and climate protection are tasks for municipalities in two respects:Firstly, they themselves own properties that need to be supplied with electricity and heat. Secondly, they have an exemplary role to play in the transformation of energy systems.Only for the electricity and heat supply of their properties, the German municipalities have to raise around EUR 3.4 billion per year.
