摘要
Yield-irrigation relationships for field vegetable crops grown in Central Poland are presented in the paper. These relations were computed on the base of 49 one-year field experiments carried out in central Poland. The presented model enables the estimation of irrigation needs and sprinkler irrigation effects of vegetables in the particular years (time variation) and various localities (spatial variability). Performed calculations for the following four vegetable species: red beet, carrot, cucumber and root celery indicate that the sprinkler irrigation of these vegetable crops in Central Poland is the suitable and profitable measure.
