摘要
We continue the work on establishing the link between backstepping controllers previously designed for the Ginzburg-Landau model of vortex shedding and the actual flow dynamics, represented by a Navier-Stokes solver. At last years CDC, we demonstrated in CFD simulations, the effectiveness of a class of state feedback controllers in attenuating vortex shedding. In the present paper, we tackle the more practically interesting problem of restricting the measurements to be located on the cylinder surface, collocated with the actuation. We demonstrate, for the first time in CFD simulations, the effectiveness of output feedback controllers previously designed for the Ginzburg-Landau model in attenuating vortex shedding in an actual flow (Navier-Stokes solver).
