摘要：

Many problems in computer intrusion detection can naturally be modeled as filtering problems. Existing algorithms for anomaly detection, masquerade detection, and detection of stealthy portscans all suggest reformulations as filtering algorithms. The corresponding filtering models will be described for anomaly and masquerade detection.
