摘要
In this paper, the steady-state response of an elastic half-space subjected to a moving point load is studied. The response in integral forms is obtained first by Fourier integral transform . Then a procedure is proposed to compute the integrals for subsonic speed case. Not only the interior response but also the surface displacements can be computed by the procedure. The effects of load moving speed, depth or distance of observation point from the point of load application etc. on the dynamic response of an elastic half-space are discussed in detail. The parametric study conducted here enables us to grasp insight into the mechanism of wave propagation in an elastic half-space under moving loads.
