摘要：

The article presents the results of the tests on dynamic processes in the electric traction system on the example of the TATRA T-3 tram. Modernization of the electric traction system with the use of Siemens converters has been proposed. Based on the obtained data, the parameters and components of the analyzed system were selected. According to the results of calculations, a computer model was developed to study the impact of the traction system on the operation of the tram electric drive for various operating states.
