摘要
Atmospheric turbulence plays a crucial role in determining the propagation of light in free space optical communication (ISO) especially during the process of data transmission. The interaction that exist in between turbulence and light propagation leads to random phase and fluctuation of scintillation in free space. In this paper, we compare the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and bit error rate (BER) in determining quality of FSO communication at different level of atmospheric turbulence. A hybrid atmospheric turbulence model is proposed and utilized for this purpose.
