摘要
(Figure Presented) Highly uniform, single-crystalline PbTe nanorods with a diameter of 7 nm and an aspect ratio of 7 can be obtained by using a sonoelectrochemical method. The metal ion/ligand ratio controls the purity of the PbTe nanostructures through the redox chemistry of the ions involved in the growth process. Transmission electron microscopy of the nanorods reveals the highly uniform morphology obtained (see picture). © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
