摘要
The aim of this work was the investigation of the thermal behavior of blends of linear low-density polyethylene, LLDPE, and hydrogenated oligo(cyclopentadiene), HOCP, analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry, tensile mechanical properties, and dynamic mechanical measurements. The overall crystallization rate and the equilibrium melting temperature of LLDPE decreased by the addition of HOCP to LLDPE. These results together with the detection of a single composition dependent relaxation temperature, lead to the hypothesis that LLDPE and HOCP form a miscible blend in the amorphous phase.
