摘要
In this paper. a high-accuracy 3-D viscous numerical code, which has been developed previously by authors, is developed to analyze the flows through a pump turbine, which are included the rotating blades (runner) and stationary blades (guide vanes and stay vanes). The numerical analysis are performed with the multiple blades interaction between rotor-stator by a 3-D Navier-Stokes code. The motions of the separation flows are predicted by reducing the discharge rate from design to off-design operation conditions. In order to accurately capture the strong vortex, a new boundary condition of turbulent parameters on the wall is introduced in this simulation. The computational results are found to be in reasonable agreement with the experimental results. The special attentions of this work are focused on how can introduce the multiple blades techniques to analyze the performance of pump turbine, how can reduce the computational memory and CPU time, and how can apply the numerical techniques to hydraulic turbine and pump design.
