摘要
The transient electromagnetic (TEM) method is used extensively for mineral exploration and other application such as geothermal soundings, oil exploration, groundwater pollution, soil salinity and geological mapping. Receiving the pure transient response is pivotal in TEM. But the transient response is always contaminated by noise interference from a number of sources. The transient response of deep target is whelmed in noise interference and it affects the signal in TEM, data processing and its inversion, etc. In this paper, the interference noise from a number of sources in TEM is discussed and corresponding methods are put forward. They are effective means for reducing the noise interference.
