Analysis of Current English Teaching Condition in Sports Colleges and Study on Countermeasures

English is a required course in sports colleges in our country, and it's also difficult to learn. The English level of PE students is generally low. This article analyzes the main causes of this phenomenon from aspects of students, teachers and teaching materials, and mainly explores the countermeasures to improve English teaching quality from the factor of teachers. It aims to promote the whole English level of PE students and make them become compound talents with high qualities who have solid professional sports knowledge, use English skillfully, take part in various sports competitions and engage in sports exchanges with other nations.
