摘要
The design of a bandwidth-enhanced uniplanar MPA using EBG-AMC is presented. The designed structure with neither via holes nor multilayer substrates yields bandwidth enhancement still with useful radiation pattern values in its band. Two prototypes, a MPA and a PA with uniplanar EBG-AMC (PA_U-EBG-AMC), are manufactured and characterized based on return losses and radiation pattern. (C) 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
