摘要
Introduction In the so-called pyramid process, medical and medicinal measures are defined for independent implementation by emergency paramedics (EMT). Medical professional associations in particular have reservations about the implementation of these measures by non-medical personnel. The aim of this work is to evaluate the structured, interdisciplinary emergency care by EMT using the ABCDE scheme (ABCDE-S) as well as errors in measures of the pyramid process. Materials and Methods From 01.10.2015 to 31.10.2016 paramedics with 5years of professional experience were trained in an ABCDE-S designed for traumatological (T) as well as for non-traumatological (NT) emergencies in 80-h supplementary courses to the EMT. In the tests on the simulation model, acceptance, supply time, measures carried out and errors that occurred were recorded and evaluated. Findings In 65.3% (T: 60.8%, NT: 71.1%) care provided was in accordance with ABCDE-S. Complete emergency care was carried out in 13:28 minutes on average. Incorrect use of medical (4.9%) or medicinal (4.1%) measures was rare. Discussion The ABCDE-S is suitable for both T and NT care in the simulation model. EMT are able to provide structured extended emergency care within 15 minutes. Errors in connection with extended medical or medicinal measures were rare in the simulation model.
