摘要
This paper presents a technique of genetic algorithms for antenna design and optimization. Genetic algorithm (GA) is a robust, stochastic search method. The reconfigurable antenna, a new concept antenna is proposed and a method to realize the pattern reconfigurable antenna based on genetic algorith is (GAs) is presented. Given a frequency, genetic algorithms would search one of the patterns that the antenna might produce. In this way, the pattern required could be gotten; this kind antenna is called the pattern reconfigurable antenna, and it is one of adaptive arrays. The computer simulation results indicated that the proposed method was feasible. And genetic algorithm optimization was shown to be suitable for optimizing a class of problems of interest to the antenna design.
