Quality management assurance in Estonian metal working enterprises using welding processes. Main aspects, why quality assurance today is so indispensable in production and managing. Main supports and European standards in the field of welding quality assurance. Current situation review. The analysis of enterprises (21) looking for sertification of welding quality assurance systems. Profile of this companies: products-materials-technologies-production capacity. Current situation in the field of sertification of personal-procedures-production. Main basis for sertification of quality assurance systems (ISO 9000/EN 729/ others). Outlook for 2002,2003 and 2004.
