The purpose of this experimental study is to improve the understanding of the fatigue behavior of RC beams strengthened with prestressed carbon fiber laminates (CFLs). The results show that the fatigue behavior of the bonding between the CFLs and concrete has a significant effect on the fatigue life of the strengthened beams. Furthermore, it has been found that the value of CFLs stress decide whether the addition of the prestressing has negative or positive effect on the fatigue behavior of the strengthened beam, and the excessive prestressing would reduce the fatigue life of the strengthened beam.
