摘要
Two new species of copepods of the genus Nothobomolochus Vervoort, 1962 (Poecilostomatoida, Bomolochidae) parasitic on marine fishes of Taiwan, are described. They are: N. lizae n. sp. from Liza macrolepis (Smith) and N. longisaccus n. sp. from Thryssa hamiltonii (Gray). The former species is characteristic in having an armature of 0-I; 0-I; II on the endopod of leg 4. The latter species has a combination of the following features: three processes on the pedestal of the antennule subequal, and longer than the first two antennular setae; terminal claw on the maxilliped with distinctive auxiliary tooth; and an armature of II,I,5 on the terminal segment of the exopod of leg 4. Both species of host are the first species of their genus recorded for carrying a bomolochid copepod.
