摘要
Apparent molal volumes, apparent molal adiabatic compressibilities and viscosities of phenol, sodium salicylate and sodium benzoate in water have been determined at 288.15, 298.15, 308.15 and 318.15 K from density, speed of sound and efflux time measurements. These data have been utilized to determine partial molal volumes ((V) over bar (o)(2)) and partial molal adiabatic compressibilities (K(S,2)degrees) at infinite dilution which have been fitted to suitable polynomials to estimate first and second derivatives with respect to temperature. Viscosity B-coefficients for the various compounds have been estimated using Jones-Dole equation. The activation energy for viscous flow has also been estimated. These parameters have been discussed in terms of solute-solvent and solute-solute interactions.
