摘要
A basic aim in utilizing the non bio degradable polymeric waste is to reduce the level of adulteration of pollution to the environment. However reduced waste or a proper approach to waste management helps in conserving the resources for the succeeding generation and contributes to a healthier, cleaner and pollution free environment. This paper discusses a simplified approach to analyze the mechanical properties of randomly distributed particulate composites prepared from non biodegradable wastes. Mechanical properties of epoxy resin composites reinforced with glass powder, glass fiber and silicon foam separately were experimentally investigated. It is anticipated that the discussion and results in this wok not only contribute towards development of epoxy resin composites reinforced with non bio degradable wastes with superior mechanical properties but also useful for investigation of mechanical properties in other epoxy resin composites Crown Copyright (c) 2018 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
