摘要：
It does numerical analysis on the overload of RCC arch dam named wanjiakouzi, through the analysis, we try to find the damage process of the dam. It does elastic-plastic analysis by FEM. Result shows that the horizontal cracks are usually a very important clue, it means the dam will reach its ultimate capacity.
