摘要：
The use of biomass and other renewable and sustainable energy options to meet a variety of energy needs was studied. The production of geothermal and solar energy was negligible with respect to biomass and hydropower. The depletion of fossil fuels and increasing degradation of environment emphasized the importance of renewable sources of energy.
