摘要：

The material present a concise overview about the state of Kyoto Protocol implementation in Romania. There are taken in consideration the legal instruments witch regulate the necessary steps to implement project in reducing greenhouse emissions. There are three flexible mechanisms provided by Kyoto Protocol but in Romania is applied just Joint Implementation (W) one. There is important to mention that Romania in included in Annex I of Convention Framework of the United Nations on the Climatic Changes (UNFCCC), under the category of countries that are undergoing the process of transition to a market economy. This statute awards Romania to sign Memorandums with other states included in Annex I for developing common projects in this direction.
