摘要
A three-dimensional chemical transport model, CAMx, is used for the first time to simulate particulate matter (PM) mass concentrations in Poland during the year 2005. The model is coupled to the mesometeorological model WRF and the original emission model EMIL. The resulting maps of PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations are presented; these concentrations exceed the EU limit values. The WRF EM I L CAMx modelling system predictions are evaluated against PM10 measurements extracted from the European monitoring database. The performance of the system is good for annual means and autumn winter diurnal levels and patterns. During spring and summer, the measured values are underpredicted.
