Strongly-correlated electron systems excited by intense light - Search for a new phase of matter

摘要
We have developed a theoretical method to investigate the multiphoton excited states of strongly-correlated electron systems. We consider an electron system which is coupled with photons and numerically calculate the ground state of the electron-photon coupled system. Some preliminary results are presented and the problems of this method and the ways to improve them are discussed.
