摘要
The structure of PbTiO3 has been refined at different pressures up to 25 GPa by Rietveld synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction. The behavior of the unit cell parameters with pressure shows the presence of a reversible tetragonal to cubic phase transition between 11.4 and 12.1 GPa. The spontaneous strain, related to the spontaneous polarization of ferroelectric materials, z(1/2) =(c/a-1)(1/2), indicates the presence of a second order phase transition, with some order disorder character.
