The steering performance is one of the most important aspects of the mobility for high-speed tracked vehicles. The properties of soil affect the steering performance of high-speed tracked vehicles deeply, and they are denoted by the coefficient of steering reststance - mu, which only can be measured by experiment. A virtual prototype model for a high-speed tracked vehicle is built based on the multi-body dynamics analytical software ADAMS in this paper, and the simulating experiment is conducted on measuring the coefficient of steering resistance conform to the experimental criterion in virtual environment.
