A convenient preparation of α-keto esters by the Grignard reaction on N-acylpyrazoles

摘要：
The alpha-keto esters were prepared by the formation of N-acylpyrazole followed by the appropriate Grignard reaction. These short step reaction conveniently afforded various alpha-keto esters in good yields.
