摘要
The oil and gas industries consist of up stream activities and down stream activities. The negative impacts in up stream activities are waste from drilling mud, cutting drill, oil spill, expired chemical, air, emission, etc.. Air pollution generally comes from emissions from mobile and stationary sources. The Office of the State Ministry for Environment and BAPEDAL (Environmental Impact Management Agency), on behalf of the Indonesia Government have established a Blue Sky Program with the purpose of reducing air pollution by emissions from mobile sources in some big cities in Indonesia. PERTAMINA as the oil and gas industry in Indonesia is also implementing the Blue Sky Program to reduce emissions in the air. This paper studies some aspects related to the reduction of air emissions from mobile sources such as phasing out lead and changing gasoline with natural gas.
