摘要
This paper describes a dual polarized square ring for Ultra-Wideband applications. The opening of a proposed antenna having square ring whose four arms are indistinguishable and slots are stepped in a rectangular configuration. The two neighboring arms of the ring are microstrip feed, while other two arms make the design symmetrical and lessen the cross polarization. The structure has an overall size of 66.25x66.25mm(2) and reflection coefficient is less than -10 dB. With the help of radiation pattern, the dual polarized antenna is justified and the resonating bandwidth is from 3.1GHz-9.6GHz. This structure will be helpful for medical imaging and radar applications.
