Emerging Technologies and Applications

The Microwave Theory and Society (MTT-S) is one of the oldest and most active Societies in the IEEE. Various technical committees in society include computer-aided design, microwave acoustics, microwave ferrites and ferroelectrics, and microwave field theory. The members of the society are actively pursuing emerging technologies and applications for microwave theory and techniques. MTT technical committees lead and participate in various technical activities in conferences and publications. Technical committee members are active volunteers in conference steering committees and technical program committees. MTT is also capable of keeping itself up-to-date with global technology trends. While some existing microwave technologies can be applied to solving these two challenges, new microwave technologies might well be invented.
