Research on urban land information system based on GIS

City development can not set apart of urban land utilization. Not only intensifying utilization of urban land can help accomplishing city strategy, but also land structure and utilizing mode constrains the degree of sustainable development of the whole area. Geographic Information System (GIS) is a new technology in managing and analyzing, spatial information based on computer science. Its extraordinary ability of processing spatial data is a steady technology support of analysis alteration of urban land utilizing. Further more that is also brings a great deal of important land alteration information to macro-control persons. By systemically analysis and theory feasibility proving, this paper demonstrates how to set up Urban Land Information System Based on GIS. It also contains the system function components and ideas of establishment.
