摘要
This paper investigates the proposed model for simulation of the design and control systems for a Centrifugal Pump System with Photovoltaic power source. It illustrates the concept of a model-based approach for electro-mechanical system simulation supplied by the renewable energy source. The developed model for a photovoltaic water pumping system takes into consideration the hydraulic parameters of the centrifugal pump unit, electrical parameters of the system such as photovoltaic power source, control circuit, energy storage, and electrical motor. The model allows to examine the properties of a given photovoltaic water pumping system and to take it later into consideration at the design stage for a real photovoltaic pumping system. Additionally, the paper provides an example of liquid storage system calculation that is designed to satisfy system requirements for a particular. All parameters of the system in the current model can be changed to simulate the desired configuration of the developing system. The model helps to estimate the system parameters of the proposed pumping system in the broad range of consumption demand.
