Image recognition using adaptive fuzzy neural network and wavelet transform

摘要：
We have proposed to design and implement an image recognition system in software and hardware using features extracted from the wavelet transform (WT) of the image as input to a pattern classifier. The wavelet transform will be computed via an adaptive neural network while the pattern classification will be carried out by an adaptive fuzzy neural network. Thus, the system will be fully parallel and distributive.
