W-band Radial Power Combiner based on Circularly Polarized TE11 Mode

摘要
In this paper, a W-band radial power combining network based on circular waveguide circularly polarized TE11 mode is proposed. Firstly, a balanced mode transducer based on circularly polarized TE11 mode is designed. The suppression of high-order mode is higher than 50dB from 90 to 96 GHz, and then the transducer is combined with the radial waveguide to form a radial power divider, the return loss of the input port is less than -25dB, the output of each split port is about -11.5 dB (theoretical is -11.46dB), and the amplitude imbalance is less than 0.2 dB. Finally, the physical object was manufactured and measured. The measured results show that the new structure can be easily applied to the power combining circuit of the millimeter wave high-end frequency.
