摘要
The dynamic buckling of the elastic columns under axial impact which one end is fixed, and the other end is clamped is studied experimentally with aid of air-driving gun loading. The propagation of the stress wave in the columns is taken into account. According to measured stress and critical bifurcate time, critical buckling load is acquired. The experimental results show that the dynamic critical load of the columns is distinctly greater than the static one under the same boundary conditions; The propagation of stress wave plays an important part in the occurring and the growing of the buckling; The axial inertial can been neglect through analyzing.
