摘要
A new perovskite compound Gd2MnTiO6 was synthesized and its crystal structure, magnetic and thermal properties have been investigated. The patterns were refined by the Rietveld method and the refined lattice parameters with the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n (No. 14) were a = 0.5398 (2), b = 0.5704 (2), c = 0.7767 (2)nm and beta = 89.68 (2)degrees. The antiferromagnetic behavior was observed below 16.0 K and lambda-type heat capacity was measured near this temperature. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
