摘要
The performance and quality characteristics are enhanced through the use of different composite mate-rial in concrete members. The behaviours of the concrete member's especially ultimate strength and load bearing capacity were highly increased for the use of composite materials. The different factors such as load bearing capacity, flexural behaviour, tensile strength, deflection and shear failure were discussed in this paper. Thermal compatibility and durability in the concrete environment is also improved. The out-standing bonding strength between steel and concrete was developed using composite materials. Load transformation between the concrete and steel was controlled. Concrete can be protected from corrosion and crack formation. The present review paper is used to analyze the performance and behaviours of the composite steel concrete members. Overall performance was increased up to 20% using composite steel composite member. Tensile strength was increased up to 21 MPa using composite steel composite member. Copyright (c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
