摘要：

The role of data warehousing in the integration process is discussed. Business requirements analysis, data design, architecture design, implementation and deployment are the common tasks methodologies which data warehousing. The data warehouse uses a meta-data repository to integrate all of its components. It is also observed that to use the infrastructure based methodologies, focus must be on the infrastructure of the data warehouse such as metadata or cube design.
